Top collection for sale

Post by Top-Az »

It has been quite a while since I have visited this forum. Arthritis has kept me from playing with some of my toys. I recently discovered a box containing my modest top collection while cleaning out a closet. I would like to see them go to someone who will enjoy them.I am asking $80.00 for everything in the photos. Thanks for looking.ImageImage

There are six ripcords, three Gladiators, two trompo
grandes and a Giulia that I bought from this forum. There are extra strings, points and weights

Renee will enjoy these tops for sure!

It's a nice group of player's tops. How did the Giulia get such a unique finish? It looks good.

The Giulia was bought from a forum member. If my feeble brain remembers correctly I got it from Neff. He may know about the color.

I have a program coming up at the library, and I thought these would be good tops to get folks started with. Except for the Giulia, of course, that's for me. I have been hoping to try setting one up with a owb at some point.

And the color of the Giulia is really different. Can't wait to see it in person.

Love the coloring of this Giulia. It reminds me of flames. Deciding on a name for her; Phoenix, Dante, ...?

Joan of Arc?

Makes more sense than my theory. I thought the dog was worried for the top.

Art is how we decorate space, music is how we decorate time ... and with spinning tops, we decorate both.

How about Fuego for a name? I believe that's Spanish for fire....

That is a great name. It was quite the thing in the sports world for awhile to say that when someone was making a lot of shots.....like "Steph Curry is en fuego." The use of that phrase has cooled off but I still have good memories of it. In fact, once on vacation, we were driving north of San Diego and came across a restaurant called "En Fuego." I was excited to eat there and hear their stories but it turned out that they knew nothing about their name being used in the sports world.
