Aerobie Top
« on: May 21, 2010, 09:01:02 AM »

I just sort of stumbled over this one.  I was actually trying to find some information about the Aerobie Orbiter boomerang (mine's not working quite right) and discovered they make a top.

It's like a tiny whip top!

We have discussed the top before here: Aerobie Megatop.

Not only it is a hand held whip top but the boomerang is done very similar to the way they throw tops at the 0:24 on this great video posted by TML:

I should have guessed it was already posted about.  I'm not sure if I missed that or just forgot about it.

That video is great.  Those are some MegaTops for sure.  Who's bringing the swinging ring to World's?  ;D

Cool video.  I hadn't seen the swinging ring for a while, and I'm always impressed when they hit those small, elevated targets.  Just that and then adding the swinging ring would be a good top contest at any top event.  Maybe Flatland in June?

Thats a nice video, those tops are probably really heavy, and they seem to have a flat tip
