after a quick debate within the board of directors ,followed by a vote,
we have decided to help the festival "La Vuelta en Trompo " in Venezuela

here is the exchange :


Hello fellow directors
The festival La Vuelta a Borota en Trompo will take place this 16th of
April.
It's the 50th edition, what I believe makes it the longest continuously
running spinning top festival in the world.
They have sent me an invitation and also an official request for
sponsorship.
The festival is organized by a non-profit.
I suggest we give $300 to the festival in this very special occasion.
Please, vote for YES, NO or suggest another amount.

There were 4 votes in favour (Taka, Cuper, Jim and me)
 and one abstention (Pepe).
 So the donation of $300 USD to the festival is approved.

The money will be in the hands of the contest organizers this Monday.
Reaching the 50th consecutive year is no small feat. They really deserve this help, specially considering the dire economic situation in which Venezuela has been for many years.
ITSA is mentioned as a sponsor on the official poster and we should get a good report.

I would have loved to go if it was at all possible. But the country is still closed to most tourists because of covid, on top of the many other obstacles to travel over there.

I'm really proud that ITSA can help maintain this tradition that provides so much joy to the young and old!
