John Fielder is arguably Colorado's preeminent landscape photographer, and that's saying something. His coffee table books are simply breathtaking. A few years back, he shot an entire book on the Yampa River on a phone camera!
When I saw that, I knew it was time to see far I could push my own phone cameras. Answer: Much farther than I ever imagined.
Kinda makes all that money I spent on fancy Canon DSLs and lenses over the years look pretty silly now. Granted, DSLRs are still better for some purposes, but they're getting fewer and farther between as my days as a serious amateur photographer recede.
