Shortest string challenge

I want to play a little game :D
The subject basically tells you everything you need to know about the challenge :D
I'm curious what's the shortest string we can use for spinning tops.
I did it with 45 cm (almost 18 inches) of my string and used my QSH. I hope to see someone with a bigger top going for the challenge  8)

That you can regen with such a small string is impressive. The miniature wheel of fortune is very cool.
