i found this cartoon on a blog which tells the stories of the past in Algers... the person recalls his games in the sixties among them toupie (ZARBOUT)
it says  "spintop : the boy's way or the girl's way "?

The most marvelous thing to me, is the cowboy using his lasso like trying to catch ...the spinning top, or the spinning female dancer?
