I know that nothing I can say can dull your heartache, jack. I can only hope you escaped bodily harm for dinging your sister's floor.

Mm, I don't know if you are as attached as I was to tips I turned myself. Once I continued playing for about an year with a tip after it bent. On the string there was not much difference, but it vibrated terrible on the hand and it was impossible to spin it on the fingernail. Perhaps because of that, I never care about balancing my tops  ::)

I just got off the phone with my sister. I was so happy to hear she was still alive. Then I find out we have a bent C tip? Jack do you have a hammer? I mean it's not like the C tip has Polio. Get off the PITY POT and get into action. Let's see that C tip back in action.

The way I would try to fix it would be to put tip in drill. Find the high point and smack it with a hammer till it runs true. If I'm in the shop I put the tip in the lathe chuck - put and indicator on it - and tap it with a dead blow hammer until it runs true.

MY WORD SPELL STILL DOES NOT WORK?

Bummer, jack, but that broken tip may not be your biggest problem: I think your nose is missing, too.
