help with a top...
« on: October 26, 2016, 03:04:03 AM »

hi all!

this top was made by Jack:it reappeared at the top of one drawer after 6 months of hibernation
I can't make it spin,  except with a backhand throw, short string, counter-clockwise winding , tip down

can you help ?

by the way it looks like one of the Japanese tops in Gould's book

thanx
