thats very impressive, a similar motion following a chonkakegoma. as soon as i can manage to catch behind the back rollercoasters im gonna learn this, i think it would make a great freestyle element eh

So I see the TOTW did not take the day of for the US holiday.  
Are you pulling up with both hands to reduce the slow down due to the left hand pull?  It looks like it will be hard to keep lots of spin.  It is a very cool trick.

Kirk: When I'm throwing the top up from string I'm pulling with both hands (maybe left hand a bit more) and I think that it doesn't slow down the top at all because top is sliding on the string all the time so you almost can't notice any slow down.

Wow! The combos are getting really complicated! Impressive! 

For a moment I thought you were going to catch the top in the triangle/loop around your neck.   

I think for the time being I will just practice the sun with release (counter-weight sun?)

Spinningray should see this. At one time he was big into one-hand-lasso regens.

I hope JohnM sees it too.  I remember watching in amazement as he did dozens of a similar trick with a big top.

New trick is coming 

It's called Infinite Bondage. In first left (hand) to right transition right hand goes "inside" and it unwraps one loop from right hand. In second left to right transition right hand goes "outside" so number of wraps is unchanged. You can combine this moves as you like

Wow! I have to untwist may brain now, but that was a lot of fun!   
Super trick!

On the first set it seems that no twists were added around the tip, but on the second set it started to accumulate twists. I have to think about it (after I untie by brain knot).

in fact it reminds of a crazy eight but with the wraps and unwraps around the cubitus/radius
