broken GANADOR
« on: March 23, 2014, 03:51:33 PM »

hi all

after much time spent with Salvador, i have finally got the addiction of regen fix tip tops.
i have relearnt the boomerang with the button between index and major..
.i have understood the need for hard throws (never felt the necessity with bearing tops)...
i have got used to dropping the top 85 times out of 100(my back aches and my right shoulder too)
and today a great improvement
i have finally broken the wonderful ganador !!
no worries Salva gave me 4  of them and it's still gluable
up to now
i can do roller coaster (2reps) twice in 10 tries
i can do much longer wirewalkers, cable car once in 3 weeks
90% successful trapeze throws now

practice practice !!

Awesome news. Great work!

I am about the same.  Switch to drumbeat now and then. I find it gives me something new to fail at. :)

I find a smaller top in easier for cable car. I have no idea why. Be sure that the top leans just a little away from you as it leaves your right (throwing) hand. It will be leaning left as it reaches your left hand. This is just right for the climb back to your right.

Jim,
Thanks for inspiring me to work on Roller Coasters again. I figured out a mistake that I was (am still making) and began to get better.  No time to practice due to work though.

Great Jim!

You've never fully experienced the spintop until you can regenerate it.
IMO, fixed tip is ten times better than bearing or OWB. Others will disagree.  ;)
