Football (soccer) players relaxing with tops before important match

Cuper sent me a link to an article about the Mexican football (soccer) national junior team at the U-17 world championships last month in the United Arab Emirates. It shows them relaxing just a few minutes before the semi-finals match by playing with tops!



I know Gus is coach of a soccer team: perhaps this kid went through him?

They went on to beat Argentina 3-0. They lost the final to Nigeria by the same score, but perhaps they forgot to bring their tops  :P

Notice that the taller player on the second photo also has a top in his hand:



They should get sponsorship from a Mexican spintop brand.  :)

I will have to agree, it must be a yo-yo  :(  The article only mentioned the top, so I guess that made me not look carefully.
