2009 Battletop Trophy

This year the winner of the Battletop contest gets the trophy and A CASH PRIZE!!! ...of 26 cents.  Coincidentally, I needed 26 pennies for the counterweight in the trophy.

That is so amazing!  How much I wish I could go to nats and have a shot at that!
Who wants a cup or a medal? Your trophies are the coolest ever!

As soon as I saw the trophy, I knew what was coming.  Yet, still I laughed out loud (and heartily) when I saw the top split.  That is great!!!  Thanks for the creativity and the smiles.

Some of you left today for Chico and the rest will leave tomorrow: good luck to everybody! 

The contest (probably not the spintop battle . . .  but it should!) will be broadcast on:



The family is driving to the beach this weekend so I'll missed it and probably will not find out the results until Sunday night. But I'll be thinking about you all . . . and looking for marine life to pose with my tops  8)
