Is the black giullia a special edition? I read on the yoyoexpert spintop forum its called side effect is this true?

If memory serves…
When the Black Giulia first came out it was also known as the Chris Neff Signature Series.
For some reason I seem to recall that only 15 of those were made?
But I could be wrong.
Any help on this folks?

Yeah i read that too but when i ordered my black giullia yoyoexpert had 17 black ones in stock there must had been more made

It's a good likelihood that more were made.  Then again, dying white Giulia's was popular for a while too.
 
Perhaps Maurizio will provide the answer when he finds the time in his hectic schedule.
Chris might be able to shed some light on it too.

Yup, Maurizio called the first run of black Giulias my signature series, though there were no markings to indicate that.  For a while he was going to call it Side Neffect I think.  I do not know how many were made on the first or second run.  I like them they are beautiful, but don't show up very well on a stage... Maybe in Alaska...

How does one begginer like me get one of those strummol8 shirts are they available to buy? I must say im a big fan of s8 tops before i bought my 2 giullias and a sophia i told myself i woud never buy an expensive top but after a month i decided i would give them a chance and i dont regret it now i never tought there was such great quality it really blew my mind, im 24 years old and i must of had a 5 year old's smile

Ta0's S8 collection is amazing. Titti, Sofia, Enzo, Giulia white, red, and blue, STB1, STB2. I am sure there are more that I just didn't see. I was just learning upside down on his blue one. They are beautiful tops.

Wish i had that collection but im starting mine, i know i probably wont get ahold of one of the older models but at least ill get the recent ones

Actually, I traded my white Giulia to Rick Osborne for some vintage tops.
I do have  Eric's Giulia di Legno #3 and piccola Sophia di Legno.
I feel guilty but I'll have to live with that
