Other tips for Guilia
« on: September 14, 2011, 01:41:35 AM »

I just ordered my first Strummol8, and I am so excited :)
Does anybody here make tips compatible with the Strummol8. I am looking for some delrin tips that would fit it (so I don't destroy the floors in my apartment). Also where can I get regular Strummol8 tips (Yoyo expert is out of stock). One last question. What type of sand paper should I use to dull the tip (I heard the tips are very sharp).

Congratulations!  8)
You are in for a great experience with Maurizio’s tops!  ;D ;D ;D
Fine “Emery Paper” will dull the tips nicely.
You can ask (PM) Maurizio if he has extra tips…he is a member of this Forum = “MrYo”.

salut davin !

some comments on your post about your Giulia

I am looking for some delrin tips that would fit it

S8 are not production tops , they are unique spintops made in very small quantities hence the quality : the tips are made of a high grade steel : very heavy duty....even Eric the master modder uses S8 tips in his creations

(so I don't destroy the floors in my apartment).
i suggest you get a piece of carpet ... :D  plus once you get around with spinning tops , you rarely drop tip toward the ground : it's more the side of the top that "pays" its share
(except for target shots and battle throws )

S8 tips simply great !!

;D ;D ;DCongratulations, the best spin you can buy, I got a Giulia a week ago or so, you'll have so much fun, I have not stopped playing with Giulia, a tip, do not touch the tip, is unbeatable.
Do not worry about the tip, take care of the floor of your home ....
mine is wooden and has suffered a bit ... :-\ :-\
