Neff just showed me this post. I missed it somehow.

I was just telling him that I was battling with my Mini Duncan ripcord top the other day and I was coming in second and third place against a bunch of Spintastics TG's, Blizzards and Gladiators.  I was calling it MMM "Mama's Mighty Mini! (My nickname at the school is Mama).   The kids were all cheering  when little mini took first place.  Wish you could have all seen the battle....little MMM was getting hammered between the giant TG's and once, it was "pinched" up about 7 or so inches into the air but landed safely spinning back into the disk......everyone was going wild :)   That excitement stayed with me all day, and after watching the three Spin Top Amigos video, I had to find out if the little top that Neff spun in the video was also a mini ripcord.  Here are the only ones that I could find left on the web:  http://www.zooscape.com/cgi-bin/maitred/YellowLoop/questp409160#MoreInfo

I found a few of these keychain tops a few years back and I filled one of them with gorilla glue so that the glue would expand evenly and add a bit of weight.  It's still quite light and takes a delicate touch to pull off tricks but I can do lasso, wirewalker, and others tricks if I use a super light touch.  For some reason I'm able to land the killer overhand throw with this top and have much less success with bigger tops.

I'm so excited to see this post b/c one of the things I mentioned to Neff was that I wished that there was such a thing as a mini Strummol8 and it looks that my wish will eventually come true  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I don't know what the heck those measurements are that are listed for the little Duncan top, but my little MMM is approximately  1-1/4" in diameter and about 1-3/4" tall.
