There is an auction on Ebay (110674490258) for a supposedly neolithic top from Mauritania (6500 to 2000 Before Present):

They have a buy it now of $3,000. But there is no provenance mentioned! I would think most likely it is a fake, probably a copy of one in a museum. Although I am not sure how they know it is a top.

I must have saved the photo on a hard drive, but I need to find it. I don't recall how it looked like, but I was not impressed.

Rats, would've been a perfect top for me! Wife says I'm Neolithic at best.
