A spintop as a logo of a metrobus station in México D.F.
« on: March 03, 2022, 12:33:53 AM »

Today I realized (because I traveled in that  parte of the city), while I was reviewing the stations. It was a great surprise to me.

This is an icon for the Metrobus station of Recreo. It is close to an avenue with the same name. Recreo in Spanish means recreation time, and it's used for the recess time in schools. So the spintop icon makes reference to this.

Love it! Recreo seems likely to become a top destination.

This is something very trivial, but I noticed the string isn’t wrapped around the tip like it should be.  ::)

What do you mean?
But it is true, since I am left handed, I wind the string the other way around, at the moment, usually.

What I meant is that in order to wind a top with a straight tip, like a nail, the wind has to start on the tip.

With the Top on the icon, the wind is started where there is no place to get the string locked on,  so it should just slip off.
