Thanks to my wife and daughter, who said and showed to me, I saw how a top is included in this oriental program (I am not so sure, but I think is from Korea) It seems to me that is very similar to a Japanese koma.

Thanks por posting about it, Salvador. The Squid Games are in fact from Korea.
I looked it up and the top game appears on Season 2, specifically in the 4th episode of the second season and part of a pentathlon of 5 traditional Korean games.



The name in Korean for spinning top is paeng-i (팽이) and specifically for whip tops paeng-i chigi (팽이치기).
I couldn't find on Youtube the Squid Games' spintop clip. I might need to reactivate my Netflix account and watch it.
