If you'd like to include me in the list of Top Makers, that would be fine with me. My main interest is Big Top Experiments, that is trying to build the biggest top that I can throw and see if tricks are possible. To fund the build of these tops I've been making hand size tops with 20 Pennie nail tips for sale. While these are more functional art than high performance pieces, I did sell about 50 hand tops last year. I'd welcome inquiries about the Big Tops, bear in mind building one takes weeks. I live on Round Top Road, so naturally I call the Top end of my work, The Round Top Top Shop. I've been a professional wood turner for 37 years, own 4 lathes, give lessons and welcome visitors with appointment, and happy to add to the diversity of the top community.

I added you to the list, Paul. Do you have a website? I put the email that was posted on a Bindlestiff show.
I'm not sure if I'm ready for a really big top. I will likely be moving in the next few years. But it's tempting.

I do have a website but did not show it because it has no tops on it. I don't run the website, nor know how. My career was making architectural details which included tons of turnings. From being a fan of Bindlestiff, I got into tops. All the architectural work was removed from my website, it is full of woodwork, art and tools. paulgstewart.com. There's a Facebook page, big top experiments, which I haven't been very active on but plan to start posting hand tops soon. Thanks for including me!
