Re: Spinning Hollow point help
Oh there was an O ring around it originally, didn’t know that but that makes sense considering how many tops he has O rings on. I like the Bulldog topper idea, of course those are very hard to come by these days.

Re: Spinning Hollow point help
Cheers, I got both methods to work for me! This thing is a lot of fun, feels like the slightest mistake will turn it into a heavy metal projectile in my living room. No accidents yet

Spinning Hollow point help
I have a top I believe was made by Spintastic, it’s made of metal and you can nest one of his small plastic tops inside. I can throw them together but I’m trying to figure out how to wrap the metal top by itself since it has no top section to put the string around. Any help would be great
Thanks

Re: Announcing SpinTopWorkshop.com
Just got mine in, SO GOOD! I’ve only thrown the fixed so far, I’m absolutely living it. The size and feel are fantastic, really like that shade of orange too. Hoping you’ll make more Jumpsuits.
Thanks for the work and fast shipping.

Re: STB and Topdogs at Worlds
There is a prototype for the YYJ. André has the latest one. My friend threw it at California State yoyo contest. They are still not happy with the tip. No release date yet.

Chico Spintop
Hey guys my friend went down to Cal States and picked up a Chico Spintop. He's mostly a yoyoer and asked if I would help him sell it. I've attached some pictures of it. He's thrown it a little bid. There is a ding on the tip that I took a picture of. He'd like to get $75 for it.
Thanks,

Spintop weight ring
Hey guys, I'm working on my first spintop and I've attached a bad drawing that hopefully will work and make sense. I wanted to make sure that I won't have any design infringement issues. I'm looking at a delrin top with a metal weight ring. The drawing shows how it would be designed basicly to press ...

Re: Spin top design
It's going to be bearing...probaby bearing only. I'll have to measure some of my tops like Watts and S8 and compare the widest diameter with the height from there down just to find out. I'm not sure I'm ready to trust just my eye at least not until I've done some more research to find out what my ...

Re: Spin top design
so is it A x 1.667 or A x 1.6180339 ? Has anyone every made a top to this exact ratio? What tricks whould be difficult with this ratio and what tricks would be easier? It seems like most tops try for something in the middle so they can be used bearing or fixed? The Throwback and the original mexican ...

Spin top design
Hey guys, I'm looking into making a top with a friend of mine and was looking at some posts about it and I also measured all of my tops and discovered a huge variety of info. I just used a cloth tape measure so it's not dead acurate.
