Hi everyone!
Some of you know about it already, I'm planning to open a spintop webshop (string or whip spinning top only as agreed with Marion from toupie-shop) at least for the European market.
Since the Konečny's brothers closed their shop we can't find/advise people about any good spintops here...
The point is more to share our common passion than make real money... By the way it will be ran as a Non Profit Organization so (no professional retail prices)

In the meantime,  we plan (for now with Alberto and Strummol team) to renew the principle of "patches" to get a complete learning curve as fun as possible.
What we have in mind: We thought about small pins you could win for each 3 tricks/throws learned (some of them should include precision hits), then maybe personality tricks lists (our stars? maybe world's winners?).
Earning last pins should reward a cap to pin down collected pins...

This will include a complete rewrite of spintricks.org landing on simple page proposing 3 links, one to the "top school", made of video tutorials and the pins system, one leading to the archived version of actual website, and one to the shop.

These are just few ideas, and any proposal/discussion will be much appreciated!

The webshop will open with mainly tops I got in Loon-plage and Marines festivals from Dani Oso & Gus (Mexican tops), Mauricio & Sylvia (Strummol8),  some Alberto's wooden tops, Kostas' traditional greek tops, Portuguese traditional fighting tops from Daniele & hanna and some cheap ones from Shâm & Ludo...

Next proposed tops, should come from US (mainly 3d printed) (not available at the moment)and obviously from Japan via Taka...

This order will end my investment, but I will be glad to have some "Pay later" pieces if you are a manufacturer/brand...

Of course I'll be happy to find other sources, don't hesitate to propose...

The shop will be great for the European scene. Good luck!

New patches or pins is a great idea. The Spintastics patches were a big success in Marines. It's been a long time since I earned my last patch (and I have them all).

Maybe that is covered by other sources you mention above, but maybe there is something that Can Cels has to offer that could be interesting for the shop.

Curios to hear how the communication goes. When I contacted tried to contact them about something for our toy store, it was very hard to get somebody on the phone and no answers to initial e-mails. In the end it worked and we got our order. The prices are really good I would say. Pepe is also doing business with them.

Yep quite difficult to get in touch and you have to be "not in a rush"....
I know Guillem is using their tops as a visit card for his show...

Guillem gave me one of those upon saying good bye at Marines. The shape looked familiar. So those are from Can Cels.
I had to climb down to the tracks at gare du  Chars to recover it after a bad throw while waiting for my train to Paris. ???
