That was a cool present and the custom shirt a nice touch from your brother!  8)

Titanium has the highest strength to density ratio of any metal, what is great for engineering. It's density is intermediate between aluminum and steel, so it's not the best for tops in that regard. But Foreverspin is all about collecting different metals in a cool format and not about spin time, in spite of its name  ::)

Agree, lust for metal seems to be a big part of the EDC top phenomenon, and the more exotic the better.

And what better way to carry around a chunk of your favorite metal than in the form of a small endurance top you can show off? Everybody likes to see tops spin. At the right time, you just work in that yours happens to be made of super-rare warhead-grade tantalum-niobium-osmium alloy.

I totally get that. I like cool metals, too. Better yet, a super-rare warhead-grade tantalum-niobium-osmium top would make me the coolest guy on the forum! >:D

Titanium is also a very cool metal. I'm jealous.
