So-called "spring"
« on: April 16, 2021, 10:25:50 AM »

So who do I see about this so-called "spring" we're having in Colorado?

Definitely still winter here, the calendar notwithstanding. Snow predicted again on Monday, and highs in the 30s and low 40s (°F) till late next week. Last spring hardly deserved the name, either.

I blame those goody two-shoes Canadians. They should keep their !$#&/@! cold air to themselves.

Yes, it is spring here in Miamisburg.  Go Ohio.  I am wearing my shorts today.  Not yesterday, though, as it was much cooler and windy but nothing like your weather Jeremy.  Sorry.  Maybe someone is trying to get you to have a couple more shots at that snow top stuff?

I'm afraid this gloppy wet spring snow isn't good for anything but the plants. On the bright side, good to enter our dry summers with as much soil moisture as possible.

Snowed again yesterday, but it's already gone. Finally warming now: 50°F today, a spring-like 72° by Sun.Then cold again on Tue.

Keep telling myself that all this cold and wet will make for a milder wildfire season.

Yes, we will hope for a much milder wildfire season.  We also just had a bunch of snow earlier this week.  Of course, it too is gone.  Maybe spring is here to stay in a few days?
