What kind of trick am I doing?
« on: July 01, 2020, 04:08:38 AM »

Hello folks!

First of all : how is everyone doing?
I missed you all!
It's raining here. So I can't practice outside  :( today it is..

I still throw tops, and get the hang of it. Even a trick I did by 'accident'.
Did it a few times. I was ready to film it.
Sometimes it looks a little like merry go round.
And other times, it looks like this :

Don't mind my face. Sunlight was shining in my eyes.
I am really thrilled that I learned a new trick  :D
But what is it called? I don't know.
Is it a mix or variation? Or does it have a name?

Hope you folks can help me out.
Have a nice day everyone!
Many warm greetings
Hydrona

Well, I don't remember anybody doing it on purpose ;) So you have the beginnings of a new trick if you continue developing into a consistent trick.   >:D
Are you using a bearing or fixed tip top? It could be a new way of self-binding the top for a sling trick (bearing top) or a helicopter (fixed tip). The usual way is to swing the top a few times in a merry-go-round and then let it go. Or the start of different trick. Just go for it and call it Hydrona Dive, for example.  8)

I like it!  ;D ;D ;D
It looks as though you know it will catch if you just drop it... like you were about to grab the string with your other hand, and then you were like, "Nope! I'm just going to drop it in the loop."
Can you get that same loop hanging down from your hand after a boomerang often?

Hello folks,
Thank you  :)
I use a fixed tip.
It happens occasionally, but the more I practice, the more I can focus to get that loop.
It's really fun  ;D
It's good to be back on the forums again . Missed all you people!
