I ordered from Gerardo half a dozen of his Trompo Star tops (one of each color). They were $3 each and shipping the package from Mexico is going to cost me a little over $30 or $5 each. If anybody in the US wants one, you can get it for $8 plus shipping. The shape is different than regular Mexican tops. Some call it the egg

I would sell you at cost one of the ones I ordered. It made no sense for me to just pay shipping on a single top.

I increased the order to a dozen for just $7 more shipping from Mexico. So now the cost per top is about $6 plus shipping to you.
If Gerardo drops the package tomorrow, UPS claims delivery by Tuesday.

I would expect the post to take a month with the covid. I'm using my business UPS account so I have a great discount that almost matches the post and can get them fast.

Gerardo sent the package yesterday and UPS says it's waiting for customs clearance.

I received the tops. The boxes came flat, so you will have to assemble them.
One of the reds is actually closer to a purple.





Shipping in the continental US is $8.30 by Priority Mail, for any number of tops (there are no savings using regular mail for this weight).
The tops are $6 each.

I still have 6 tops, but I ran out of boxes. Gerardo didn't send me boxes for all of them because it would have surpassed the weight on the label I sent him.

I ordered a dozen from Gerardo yesterday 
It seems the egg shape (or acorn shape) is very nice for bouncing. The thingiverse spin-top bounces well when it is printed in rigid plastic, and Gerardo has at least one Instagram video doing a nice intentional bounce trick with his.
