So cool.  I have watched hundreds and thousands of top spinning videos and many of them are kind of “old hat” to me now but THIS video really made me sit up and pay attention.  It is so fascinating to watch that giant top and the rope.  Great work, Daveid!!!

thanks guys, fyi: the pulfrich effect works really good on the tops in that video, so if you cover just your right eye with a sunglasses lense, it delays the signal to the brain for that side's image and the spinning object appears 3d... ive gotten it to work on a few of the tops in my slow mo videos but that particular hdpe 10in works probably the best, sometimes i can get it to work just by squinting one eye.

I missed this video from daveid but it should be on this thread. I love the slow motion.
