Great video!

If I might offer a bit of constructive criticism....try cutting the distance between you and the camera by about 50%.   I'd like to see more of you, and the top, and what you're doing, and less of the yard and the background.

But, it's still a great video! ;D

It’s so great to see you throwing a big top. So many good things in life — wood lathe — steal tips from Jose, and making the big trick Trompo you want. Also learning all the tricks the Colombians can do.

@Mailman: Agreed, I never seem to find a camera angle where I fit fully yet we don't see anything. I'll work on my camera skill :) Promise!

@Earl: Awww.. you are too kind, Isn't Jack a fellow canadian too ? He's better than me by a WHOLE lot :P

@cecil: Thanks :) Sorry that routine was a bit too regenerative for your taste probably :) That said, will do better :) If you ever want to send nice tops my way... I promise to throw them :P

Cheers y'alls

I thought Jack was stepping aside for a bit because he has too many championship medals in his trophy case.  I could be wrong.  But anyway, you are doing great and we love everything Jack has done in the past and will do in the future!!!

I threw a Watts Year’s ago It was a five inch. When I tried a Texas Cowboy the top fell off the line on the bottom of the trick. So yes I am curious if the Watts can do the basic tricks. If not change line - maybe one of Jose tips.  Let’s get together soon and throw my tops.

I'd love to throw one of your top cecil. With my good line, I'm able to do more and more of my tricks. Most of my regens tricks are not a problem anymore. I was even able to pull once 7 wheels of fortunes conscutivly. I still don't have the force in my shoulders to do orbits / half-obits with that top.

Tips feel fine to me.
I am considering buying a lathe this summer. Problem will be tips... but well.. I can always buy Jose's one I presume =)
Cheers,

Paxl13, I've been enjoying your videos.  I would be nice if the type of top, and type of tip, you are using is identified.

Thanks Renee!!!

Good suggestion, I've been lazy with description lately ( honestly at shooting videos too :P ) I'll try to remember it next time I shoot something :)

What I don't like about Jose's tips - the shoulder angle is 50 degrees and I like 40 to 45 degrees. But they work great. I just don't like that long look.

Not on this one, this is just pure bearing. No regen!!!
Cheers, don't hesitate if you have any question!

Not sure if ta0 will be ok for me cross posting this for reference but if not  @ta0, please remove the post all together!!! Thanks!!!

I had some fun with my watt top!!!! The only tricks I"m unable to do, is throwing it!!! :) As silly as it sounds!!! ( the tip is too small for the body of the top sadly ) This is a string size I use for QSH!!
