The neck is .200 diamenter. I was going to stain and test top out this weekend, but it's been raining. I've never had good luck with painting in the rain so I'm not going to chance it. The paint stays soft? Now I'm thinking of two different stains using frog tape.

I hope I have her up this weekend. First is to check balance. And then what she will do. I'm hoping she plays like a SPINTASTIC with a BIG C TIP. Hopefully some of you PRO'S out there will show me what she can really do. Anyone coming to the bay area call me.

These are a couple of 3 3/4 diamenter tops I'm also working on. They have been made to play on large Spintastic line. To me this is the best line. If you could get the same line a little bigger you could play four inch tops on it. This is left over spalted wood mixed with black walnut. The spalted had a lot of worm holes in it, so I had to use CA and spalted chip dust to fill. Something to do while Rossie, is drying.

These two tops were a nightmare to work on. Beaver holes everywhere. I am trying to save the Pisces of spalted would I had left over. A one inch piece fell off bottom and I replaced it with black walnut.

ROSARITA,  10 1/2 diamenter - 3 pounds - stright tip. Tommrow is the big day. Segmented Pine, 125 pieces. Hopes =  Glued pieces make her a strong top. Will do all the basic tricks. Stairway to Heaven - Wire Walkers, and LONG LIFE.

Cecil,
Best wishes for a super good day.  I think I speak for the group when I say I look forward to the report and the photos.
