I put the Taiwan top I bought on ebay in the lathe to cut the body down. Then I went to clean up the crown and cut the angle wrong. So I turned it down and made a wood washer for it. Now I will set the compound to the correct angle and try it again.  LIVE CUT and LEARN.

Thanks Jim. I was throwing tops with young Alex, the other day and then I asked him who will be making tops when I'm gone? Who is going to take over Spintastic when Dale comes to see me? I also found out never throw big light wood tops while wearing steal toe shoes. I was lucky the top did not crack in half when I hit the steal toe.
