hi all
i've just spent a week at the Berck kite festival
met the team AirZone from Calif with darren Skinner We played tops with some other kiters who were sort of rediscovering something they knew but had never tried...Someone mentioned Eric, the chicago fire , yoyos, Elvis, and Alan Gray: the kite scene has always had a link with yoyos and skill toys
The action at Ludo's shop was immense !he had displayed his collection of "rotoplane" from the 50 ties and 70tites (a plastic plane with rotating wings)
they were selling like hotcakes....Damien and I played tops regularly, and in one week Ludo sold over 60 Aztec tops at 5 euro each....in fact after 4 days we were all playing tops:
Sham (ludo's daughter) with a very consistent boomerang
Felix (damien's team mate) had started regen with Salva at Marines and 2 months later he could do up to 4 reps of rollercoaster
Ludo played all the time between adjusting bridles , packaging, counselling, etc ...
the quietest player was 4month old Tim ( Ludo's grandson)who was delighted
i bought a kite half fish/half bird with black lotus printing: it flies very well
that's it for now
