When I visited him in Mexico City, he used my Hollow Point with a C-like tip a lot and it was as if he had played all his life with one. But one adjustment he said he had to do was the timing on the high trapeze (suicide): he had to throw it earlier than with his regular tops for the string to properly release from the tip.

I was looking up some things about Herman Lau and ran across this.  It was a thrill to enjoy it all again.  Was this about the last time we heard much from Herman?

The visit with Gus and every one was spectacular. I’ve herd nothing from spin queen, and a few emails from Herman and pop top. I stay in touch with Gus thru face book. I would love to see that happen again. I did have a lot of fun when I met up with Jose and friends in Modesto.
Anyone coming to the Bay Area should give me a call. I am only 50 miles from pop top and speed queen. I guess they are just to busy to get together? To bad because I think I have some of the best tops in the world. If you don’t believe me come by and check them out.

You are definitely in my bucket list, Cecil!
But this year I already have lots of travel planned, so you'll have to wait before you have permission to kick the bucket top!  :P
