Got a package in the mail
« on: October 21, 2009, 10:32:49 PM »

I've never seen so many stamps all around a package: over 500! Opening the package was like opening the coffer of a pirate treasure! Salvador tells me there are 440 tops there but I haven't have the time to take them all out and count them

No, they are not all for me! Most I got in a sort of consignment from Salvador to sell to those interested.  I had my doubts about getting so many but he thinks they will sell. There are very pretty tops in there, some with unusual designs.  It will take me a while to take pictures of everything and place them in the gallery. I will have prices by then. This shipment did not include the Jumbo and Turbo (bearing) tops, those are coming later.

Now, excuse me, I need to play with my toys . . .

They are all new but may be missing packaging to facilitate shipment. Salvador told me that he checked them one by one to make sure the tips were fine.

Don't worry, I think there is enough for everybody to play . . . ;D

Geez!  Now that's a lot of tops!

You should make some good ol' fashion "Grab Bags" when you're ready to sell!  Oh man, the anticipation of "What'd I get?!" that comes with a grab bag is something I can barely remember now.

Well, however you sell those tops, I'm down for a few fo sho!

ta0, are those the Trompos Cometa? I would luv to get some especially the mini car & orion.  Let us know how we can buy it! Woopee!

There are quite a few Cometa, but more Cinco Estrellas. Yes, there are Orion and I am pretty sure mini car (if not there are equivalent tops). But if you like those tops, there are others that will knock your socks off . . .  ;)

I forgot to ask is there any Turbo Zoos in there?

On this shipment there are regular Zoos but not the bearing (Turbo) kind. Those will come later.  But as they may be in limited quantities I am thinking in giving preference to those who also buy the regular tops.

You should make some good ol' fashion "Grab Bags" when you're ready to sell!  .  .  .

If people want that, there will be.

It is really surprising the amount of models there are. I guess it is a Mexican innovation to mold the interior of the top with a 3D design (that many times has a reflective paint) so it can be see from the outside but is protected by the wall of the top and doesn't affect the aerodynamics. It really looks great!
