It took me for ever to go over the tops once.
Pictures will come as soon as possible, be patient. I'll soon post a few examples. Here is how the floor looked after taking them out:

That is a lot of tops. Where do you start when you go through them?

Shame on you Ta0, none of those tops have rounded safety crowns so you shouldn't be leaving your tops on the floor where someone could get killed  ;D ;D ;D

Wow!  That has to be more fun than a pile of leaves--be honest, how much time did you spend rolling around on the floor in that pile of tops?

I zoomed in on the picture but couldn't distinguish any Tornadoes with the excellent spiral on the lid.  That spiral is just too neat for me to pass up.   8)  (if that makes me a collector then so be it)

Yes, there are at least a dozen Tornados.

I think everybody in the physics department will want an Átomo. The majority have a logo with a colored solid background that I think has a 50's look: "the atomic age." I think they are very cool.

It is also the only model that attaches the crown to the body with 3 snap tabs instead of the usual 2 tabs (or the very unusual 4).

By seeing the avatar drawing of Jhonm, I have no doubt his favourite one is going to be the Tornado.

Most of these ones are discontinued.
I must say that maybe, when you play them, yo can feel them so light, small, that you sometimes can get desperate. (because you are get used more to big and heavier tops)
All the mexican tops of this size, are enfocated, directed to kids, with little hands, little and short fingers.
The string, normally, is short and you can feel rare, strange, the way they play.
But, surely, I can say that, by playing this kind of tops, you will increase the ability to control it, by being so light, you must be faster in the tricks.
Another thing more: I reccomend you cover them with durex in the area of the snap tabs, especially if you are going to play them in a hard surface, like concrete. IF you break your top, don`t worry, glue and tape are going to help you and your top wil have a new renaissance.
I reccomend to play these tops in a surface covered with a carpet, or, better still, on the grass.

I must say that many of those models helped me to perfeccionate many tricks.
My favourites are   the ATomos, Holo Five, Alien and Super Trompo. Cometa too, but specially the Cometas ones, must be covered with tape.
I agree that maybe they can losea little of their beauty or steticity when you coverthem with tape. So, if you want to play it without tape, play in the grass, or on a carpet in home.
