And happy birthday, mtntop!

I wanted to take a picture by the Alamo, but as things are going today I will be lucky to take a picture in the backyard . . . (tomorrow is tax day for those who asked for the 6 month extension ::) ).

Nice Chris, you even put the date ;)  Glad to say that the rain has let up a bit here so I hope to get a number of pictures outside today.  I'm bringing lots of tops for people to spin.  Cross your fingers that the rain stays away between 2:30-6:00 pm here in northern Ca.

 Happy B-Day mtntop!

I'm going to try one more time - I hope this does not post 3 times!

Picture of my 27 month old granddaughter - Maya Louise Sams - Rochester, NY - attempting to copy what she saw her grandpa Don doing with a top.  She just sort of wadded the string around the top and threw it.  The top is actually in the air in the picture - shown on my blog at http://louisesdaughter.blogspot.com/2009/10/international-top-spinning-day.html

And I'll try again to attach the picture here?

Great picture Dick! And an impressive collection. Unfortunately, 10/14/2010 wasn't, nor will it be, World Top Spinning day!  :o

Cows and tops . . . you are pretty weird, you know,  Chris  :P Is that a Rascal top?

I was inspired by "death of a gummy bear" ;D

Yeah, I get kinda strange sometimes.  Sorry.  Consider yourselves my support group.  "Hi, my name is Chris, and... I spin tops around cows and often can't find my pants."

Yup, Rascal.  I have 11 rusty and 8 not rusty.  Think I bought 'em from Mr. Haward.  Check out my Rascal Containment Device:

Great rascal case!  I have a number of rascals, also.  I got mine from Mark Hayward.  I'd love to have some more.
