Wow! Live rock band during the MLD competition!  Crazy dancing in costumes! The flying throne for the winner!  We need to do something of that. Perhaps Spin Queen can get her group to Chico next year! They obviously do a good job getting media exposure.

So, for the first time the two finalists were women. But a man broke the old "world record" (I believe held by another woman) with 18:03 seconds. By the way, you can see that the winner in the excitement broke the trophy! Her comments to the reporter: "This is so unnecessary exciting . . . It is just a silly game . . . but there so much hype around it . . . "  ::)

About the postcard: I almost bid once on ebay for the Modern Mechanix magazine with the spinning top plane, but I finally decided that it did not have anything to do with tops.



The "One Present -The Christmas Top" is a classic. For a while it was down, probably for music copyright problems. A must see.
