Has anyone actually ever of topping a drink UP?  I've heard of topping Off.

Come to think of it...I never have.  In fact, I can't imagine what it would be.  Bars don't just pour a little extra beer in your glass to keep it foamy.

I was wondering if not completely getting the joke was due to my lack of command of the English language or lack of bartender culture . . .

I guess this is why Dale had to start making the sidewinders with a domed cap (a safety requirement of some country)  ???
