It is fantastic to see a new Italian spintop in the hands of an Italian player. Your friend (Giuseppe Alterio?) can lasso, so he is already pretty advanced. I guess now there is an excuse to include Italy in any future Euro-top-tour  ;)

Does strummolo means spintop? (the tag is "spintop strummolo trottola")

I saw that the older video has as tag: spintop yoyo juggling lingerie! Is the last one an example of Italian marketing?  :P

Strummolo is the Naples name of spintop, Italian trottola. Will be nice to think about an European Top Tour! Thank you Jim, this top is my first work on tops, is far from to be perfect, but i'm very proud of it, i'm workin to lighten it internal because i don't want to change the shape. First trys lower the weight from 90 gr to 80 gr, 75gr with a new aluminum tip.

Tnx, Maurizio

Nice to play. Excuse the delay, time is so rare to me, expecially past monts.

Waiting for the next models.

It seems to play nice that trottola! I loved the inversion by reaching the bearing from the top. The future seems bright for the first Italian bearing top! Good going, Maurizio!

I was by that pool at Cercedilla! Unfortunately, it was still too cold in the mountains for a dive.

But what has me incredulous are those wrong-way corkscrews . . . :o I need to start a new thread.

Thanks folks. It is a pleasure to play with Maurizio Trottola. The bearing mechanism is different to the others used by spintastics or Duncan, because the inner counter-tip is fixed and not turn; this is the secret of the inversion.

There is a favourite trick to me. After a boomerang I move the hand to down the top, and this finaly land in the hand grinding a lot. This is the previous step for an "automatic". Only the delrin makes this possible.

The video is in High definition 720 but you must see it from the YouTube page. I recomend a second waching at HD.

How long is the string? Now I use one 135 cm, but yours seems to be longher than mine.
