Thank for posting, pulp.

I have to admit I do speak sloooowly   :-[  and the music did not help.

I wish Javier's dad had pointed the camera towards me when I did the jump-rope/circular saw.

´s pain but spins"
You can say this in english, for example, when you receive the top with your foot, but anyway, it spins.

"Spain spins" it would be a good phrase to make a tiitle.

Sólo
Peonzas
Acrobáticas
Increiblemente
Novedosas

Sabiduría
Perseverancia
Inteligencia
Naturaleza
Salud

Just an idea.

Thanks Pulp, fantastic memories.

The workshop Sunday was close to two hours long and we went through a lot of tricks but I guess most was not recorded. It was great fun as there was not the pressure of the stage.

There is an hour of filmed material from the Sunday, but the quality is low and the man with the neumatic hammer makes impossible to hear anything.

I am preparing another video with the tricks we try in the "El santillan" park.

Nice videos, thanks for posting.

I like Pulp's hand positions when receiving a pass from the non-button side.  His motion is nice and smooth when skipping the lasso by using a 'modified/vertical' trapeze catch. 8)  I also like how ta0 teased the others with a passing type motion, only to continue to maintain control through another trick. ;D

Nice assortment of tops shown throughout the videos. ;)

Nicely done guys--it looks like you all had a really good time together.  Hopefully this will be the beginning of a long collaboration between the US and Spain!

I was wondering what top Javier throws at 6:20?

I believe that is my Acrobat.
More interesting is the top he uses a minute later. I think that is a blue Cincy top John sent as a gift to Pulp.

Oh! I am a miserable! Public thanks to John by his present. I appreciate his top a lot. Spin smooth and its weight-balance is nearly perfecto to my way of play. I need to contact him to re-calibrate body and tap, because I opened the tap without seeing the position of the tap mark with the numbers of the inner part of the body. :(

You are welcome Pulp.  The top is a small token of my apprecitation of all of your great reviews of tops.  Your reviews are very detailed and clearly identify good and bad features with suggestions for improvements which are always useful for making and modding tops.  Thank you for all those efforts!  Also I hope in the future you will be a consultant again for the design of new tops and perhaps some of the good and bad features of my tops will be incorporated and avoided in those designs.

Thanks also to ta0 for hand delivering this top to Pulp!

So having removed the cap, you have discovered one of the major problems with these tops--namely that a good balance is provided by a single position of the cap with respect to the body.  Sorry for not providing a warning about the alignment.  I don't remember the proper orientation for the cap on that one so you will need to test the positions by rotating the cap and finding the best balance.  One clue is that the shape should be smooth (without a step) at the joint between the body and cap when rotated properly.  I don't remember if there are balancing holes in that one like those pictured below, but if it has holes, the holes should be approximately in line on the same side when assembled.  There may be a faded black Sharpie mark across the joint on the outside by those holes which should be aligned to have the proper orientation.  You may even fine tune the position or add some sticky tac to get the balance better.

There aren't holes at the shore of the top but the black line was present when we looked inside at Mollinas.

I'm trying your advices to improve the balance.

The top is great and its shape gives it a caracteristic personality.

Thanks for your nice words about the reviews.
