Maurizio posted this last week: http://www.ta0.com/forum/index.php?topic=991.0  .......a very cool idea.  When I responded in that thread I said, " I must try that!" .................so, this morning I did..............
I did the "top-tip" section similiarly to what Maurizio posted, but, based on some of the responses to his post, I shaped the section more like the bottom of a top.  Like Maurizio's, it's Delrin and it press fits into the crown of a Guilia.  The "top-tip" uses the full double bearing tip set-up (stock Guilia parts), and I took my time in making it so it's dead true and perfectly aligned with the bottom-tip. 







It's way too much fun to play with so, I definitely can, and will make more.......I just need some more tips.....Neff, Maurizio, can you hook me up?

Wow, now i must redraw a bit my plots, or i must pay the copyright :-) . Seriously, i like a lot the work, my mental designs a really similar to that, but with bearing holders exactly made as the top ones, with spacer ecc for indipendent tip play.
