Hmmm.  What can you tell us about the top.  I looked at all the pictures and looked around for more information but do not know how big it is and why it was made and who made it?

It's on the description:
Artist: Stefan Strauss, 1995
Top: copper, green patina, diameter 80 cm, height 200 cm, oblique 172 cm
12 lens-shaped spheres: steel polished, different shades of silver to black; diameter 35 cm, height 16 cm

For something of that size made of metal, the base price 1800 euros is not too crazy.
