For the benefit of others (if I am not mistaken) we have:

Joe Fielding-Purdy (mtntop) / Chris Neff / Alan Gray (Spinningray) / Walter Watts (Watts' Tops) / Jek Kelly
Rick Prevett (lincolnrick) / Jon Gates / Mark Hayward / Chad Lunders (don't recall his nickname)

I knew Jon and Mark are couch potatoes, but that is a little too much  :P

That is a great idea for a Ultimate Battle Top of the Universe trophy!  :o  8) I cannot wait to see it working . . . Wait a minute! Did you have the battle already? Does it mean that one of the three at the table won?  ???

Flatlands Top fest was great.  Great bunch of top spinners.  Had a chance to get a few more started in their top spinning careers.   8) 8)

Wow what a weekend!! I had such a Great time at flatland festival , Alan's waffles ROCK he makes great coffee too (A necessary element to this weekend in particular). There weren't enough hours to get it all in. meeting so many of my topspinning heroes and all of the great spinners there was a true treat, the festival organizers did a great job and were excellent hosts the party's were very fun and the renegade show was awesome unfortunately I missed the three amigos at the public show but I think (hope) Neff got a video. And Walt is right there were newcomers spinning for most of the day I even got one kid hitting a boomerang or two before he left. Thanks Chad for twisting me up some new rope for my watts top, We did it in the gym had quite a crowd of onlookers and even some volunteers to help crank. Thanks again Alan for the tour and turning knowledge you shared with us as well as your generous hospitality. And I am now the proud owner of a Mark Hayward trophy Yippee !!! I will post updated pictures after the plaque arrives but I do think Mark has a video . Before we hit the road we topped of the weekend in a perfect manner, a boomerang throw at the park (real boomerangs not the top trick)      My Head is still spinning

Battletop Trophy video

Hey all,
I finally have a video of the battletop trophy for you.  Alan and I built this one together.  Appropriately it's Joe's hand triggering it.

Here are a few close-up shots.

Great looking trophy! I think, Joe, you should get a gavel to go with it (or at least use your fist to hit it)  ;) !
With the risk of being sacrilegious :-[ , I would double the height of the column and add some spintop related wording to the height levels.

Hey, Mark, did you see the breakage of the zaranda gourd top at the end of the video from Venezuela? I think we need to improve on a chump spintop to get some spectacular kills.

Zeemo, you gots to put the pictures somewhere on the internets and link to them for them to appear on the board, like on flickr or photobucket.  If you want, send them to me and I'll post them.

[Edit ta0]
You can attach photos (you have previously) with a limit of 350kB per post and 150kB per image. But then only people logged-in (minus Neff  ???) can see it.

2010 Ultimate Battletop Championship: Flatland Competitors
Paul (Zeemo) Kyprie, Joe Purdy (Mtntop), Alan Gray (Spinningray)
Walter Watts, Jon Gates, Chad Lunders, Mark Hayward, Chris Neff, Rick Prevett

Paul, Joe and Alan are standing 'cause they came in 2nd (Paul), 1st (yea Joe!), and 3rd (Alan).  The losers are on the couch (in no particular order) :(
