ESA article on spinning top-class asteroids. No, they're not made of LEGO.

Art is how we decorate space, music is how we decorate time ... and with spinning tops, we decorate both.

NASA's OSIRIS-REx spacecraft is leaving everybody's favorite top-shaped asteroid Bennu today with a bucket full of dirt to be returned to Earth in 2023.

Bennu is a near-Earth object at the top of the list of future impact threats. If it does hit us, I hope it gets in a little spin time on the ground before reducing the planet to a smoking cinder. :)
