These changes to the judging rules were approved by the ITSA International Board:

H. Freestyle Judging
3. The review panel will select 10 freestyles from each division as Finalists.
4. The freestyles will be judged from these videos by the fellow finalists. Finalists must review the other 9 Finalists from his or her own division.
5. Each finalist will provide a ranking of the best 5 freestyles from the other finalists  from his or her own division (but not his/hers): 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. No draws.

I will update the rules in the next couple of days and send messages to every player registered.

By the way, we have a player from India registered for the Traditional Freestyle!

First day of October and we reached 60 players registered!

I updated the list above, but the official list can now be found on the worlds site:

PS: I be will traveling Friday through Sunday, so I might not be able to update the list of players registered until I come back.

I came back from a 3-day trip and found the first player from Africa! I won't ask you to guess the country: Cape Verde!   
Also Jader from Colombia registered. I met him at Colombian nats: he is a great player (and juggler)! 

Now I need to seriously start with my routine. Only 20 days left!

The day after I ordered a canvas with the contest logo and the flags of the competing countries above it, a new country registered: Brazil! 
And I have the feeling that it won't be the last one. 
I have included the Czech flag, of course, even though none have registered yet . . .

Now that Herney registered, plus Brayan and Jader, the best of traditional Colombian play will be represented 

We have several circus artists registered, so I expect some good showmanship. 

Only 3 weekends left for recording the video!

There are 74 78 players registered between all the divisions. I'm pretty sure we will pass 80 90
But I have the feeling we should have more people doing the ladder. What a better opportunity to be in a world contest?

The majority of people on this forum could enter the Sport Ladder. I encourage you to do it: a great opportunity to learn more tricks and have fun! You don't have to be able to do every trick. In fact, most people entering the ladder seldom complete more than 10 tricks.

It seems that this change to the ladder rules will be approved:

G. Sport ladder
2. Will perform the tricks in order. If the player tries a trick and is not successful, it counts as a miss.
3. Will have up to two misses forgiven. The player can either retry the trick or pass to the next one. On the third miss the ladder is finished.

Tomorrow is the last day to register!

PS: Joel Norris who registered for the ladder got the covid. Hopefully he will be able to shake it off in time to record the video.
