thanks for editing the videos: they are all super top-players
i really enjoyed several routines: the one when he alternates regeneration and hackey top
the throws are impressive it's a lot more sporty than the mexican style
i wonder at what speed these tops spin just after the throw : probably over 3000RPM(?)
I also like the set-up with the audience all around the stage , the player can show tricks from different angles: to me ,and that's really an improvement compared with the 2D stage that we use,
with only a front view and courtyard or garden side to move around
food for planning the next world contests ;)

Very cool reporting from the Colombian Nationals! Those tattoos look very cool. I don't have any tattoos but I think spin tops might actually be a worthy subject matter to finally get one and they could make for some really interesting designs.

Ooooooh!  Lots of good stuff in these posts.  A restaurant with a chef who spins tops.  Salt mine spinners.  Fun group shots of competitors and the stage with the audience.  Great stuff.  Looks like things went well in Columbia......or could that be Colombia?  I know you love correcting me.

I forgot to ask Jhon if it didn't hurt his leg. I cannot imagine practicing leg bounces with such a heavy top  :o

The freestyles were 4 minutes long. Considering the time it takes to wind the top, the effective playing time was probably similar to our 3 minutes.

I think every one knows I would love to go to Colombia. At this time I think I have the best numbers for a 4 1/2 trick top. Wish I could make a bunch of them. My new trick fighters are BLACK WALNUT and MAPLE. There going to be hard to split. Thanks for the great videos.
