You are right, string-loop tricking is quite an unexplored style.

This trick makes sense in combination with another loop-string trick. I guess this is a building block into a future loop-string long combo or freestyle.

How does it compare in difficulty with the normal around the arm? The setup is more complicated but perhaps there is more control. I am still working on getting more consistent on the regular one, and I hit the two-arm version once in a blue moon!

This one looks so nice and smooth, it seams to be perfect in combos...
Have to look at this as soon as my skills will be good enough...

For me the crossed arm version is more difficult because it feels like you have less control during catch. You are controling string with crossed left arm so it is not very accurate but I practised crossed arm version much less than regular one so maybe it will change after some time
