When you list these tricks, are they similar to the diabolo trick versions? I understand under the leg and behind the back fair enough (can't do it), but would you please tell me where the diabolo is supposed to go when you say "around the body"?

Half orbits? What are those? Are you referring to the diabolo right arm orbit but with a spintop? I can see what you mean by the "half orbit" as a full orbit is impossible (or at least very difficult, I can't do it!) with a spintop. Is that what you meant?
Is there anywhere I can learn about the "Spinning spider's" trick?
Yes, one handed lasso regens are pretty difficult to learn, but I can do them naturally now. It does take practice. I can do dual lasso catches with a top in each hand, but that took months of work. I will try to make a video of it sometime!
