time capsule

hi all

it's been a long time project , and now ready to go///
all 11 glass containers  on the picture  contain a top(or tops)
i intend to deposit or hide them in various places in Corsica this summer
some of them in remote places in the "maquis" , around the village ,
others under water near the coast in Ajaccio...
this done with a precise record of all the spots , i will wait for a year or two
and see the results

it's just an experiment , with no specific theory behind ;D ;D

If I found those tops laying around, I would think they are some kind of sacred haunted top, placed deliberately for me to find for some reason.  seriously, what would you guys think if you found a well preserved top, inside of a glass chamber, hidden in say, the trunk of a tree? You woudln't think it was destiny?

This is exactly what I just finished being a part of.  Many of the tops were hidden.  Many were under lots of dust.  And there was a great assortment of tops.  The only difference is that all the tops we found were inside and they were in the lair of the one and the only toycrafter by the name of Don Olney. 

I hope you have as much fun with your time capsules as we had with ours.

I think if I found one I would have to spin it and put it back.  Wait! This sounds like geocaching.  Is Geocaching popular in France?

no it's not; but i was so fond of those treasure hunts in summer camps..
and yes some of the tops were home made
