Thanks, pulley system will be comparatively easy to install.  Have most of the components in place already.  Might take a while to get Bumblebee back in shape again!  Have to reshape the one wheel.

Yes.  Sorry about the damage to the cart.  Glad to hear it is already on the mend!

It sure was a dramatic crash, though!!!

Joe,
I am so sorry to see the damage.  I have always been a bit nervous about the shape of the transition from slope to level.  However it seemed to work fine.  That is until the speed became greater.  I suspect that the rails flexed a bit too.  Perhaps more cross ties and foundation (or steel reinforcements bolted on) near the transition.  Also a camera on each side fixed on the transition might show any potential issues in the future.
Best wishes getting the wheels round and true.  (no wobbly Walter please)
Kirk
PS Mike's pole vault students hope for such a launch!

Thank you my fellow crazies.  I am very glad I found the forum while we were making the top in early 2012.  We make progress as we have the time and funds to put into it.  It would have been a lonely 3 1/2 years without you all following and encouraging. United we spin!
