They do change slightly at different angles.  If you look close at the picture above you can see one was mirror polished.  That is how I would be offering them as it looks really cool.  That plating is very expensive but extremely hard so durability would be outstanding.

I will be making the final decision to launch these on Kickstarter very soon.  I think that is the best venue from what I can tell.  I would love to hear some opinions on that!

i really like this part of your design : incredible looks and efficiency

you wrote " We have very complex 5 axis machines here" i'm curious!

Thanks!!  I am at the hospital right now due to my daughter having minor surgery but when I get home I will post up some pictures.  The website for it is www.stadlermachine.com

Edit:  Here are a few I just happened to have on my phone.

Nice tops. I also like the the box to place it.
The tip looks like a setting for a diamond! I love it.

Wow! That is a full fledged machine shop that your family has!  :o The Mazak turning/machining center on the last photo is massive!
No doubt you can make any type of spintop. It is great to have you on the forum!

A suggestion for future videos showing long spins: put something inside the frame that moves at random.

Whew!  That is a lot of amazing equipment.  I am still awed by my little lathe and what it can do so you can imagine how stunned by your machines!!!

I have been a Machinist for over 40 years, I make tops for me, and I like BIG TOPS, that you throw like the Colombians. And BIG FIGHTERS, like Vietnam. Check out Colombian Spin Top 2006. It's exciting when a four inch wood top hits you in the face. I don't feel like I had a good day unless I see some blood.

Wow thanks all!  Ta0, great suggestion!  I will do that in future videos.  I don't know much about the big tops but they sound cool.  I watched some trick stuff the other day that was fascinating!  Put it on the to do list!  Well it is official, I will be launching a Kickstarter project in the future using these.  Thanks for all the feedback, it is great to get your opinions :)

I will be hopefully making the stainless and titanium versions today.  Would you like to see some video of the actual machining?  Let me know and I will just film it with my phone.

Well here is the Brass, Titanium and Stainless Steel versions.  The Titanium is the shiny one and wow is it light.  Not sure how bad that will effect the spin time.

The one made out of titanium should spin much less. I would like to see one with a light material at the core and a heavy material at the rim. Aluminum-brass would work very well. The ideal would be titanium-tungsten  ::)
