One little step to fix the tip of my top
« on: November 13, 2009, 01:45:27 PM »

To make my top fixed tip you must unscrew the tip holding it outside with a clamp and using inside a 7 key (european mesure), put a washer inside and screw the tip, all done :-)

I was debating if I should wait for the improved design, but this seems pretty good already and I probably should get the original version for my collection  ::)

ta0, my programs aren't clear, I'm looking for a machinist here in Italy, less expensive and with time to spent with me to make prototypes, i have some ideas, i make them with my lathe, but i need a little run of protos to ship to good players before to make the final product, and i need a machinist for this. In the meantime i'm working wiyh a friend in the USA, I'm waiting news from his machinist but, for now, i think we make tops already tested by players, this for the USA shops, i think we make the actual top, maybe with a improved tip but the same body and better bearings.

In Spain a standard machinist cost is 24 € / h.
